Emergency

Few days ago, as I was having breakfast in one of the coffee shop, ambulance just passed by the shop make a roundabout U-turn and then stop at the opposite direction of the road. It appeared that somewhere is injured due to some minor accident maybe. ( hardly notice the condition of the accident). Anyway, this reminds me of an incident that happened exactly a year ago when I step foot on UK soil on first day. I was boarding on a night bus to Cardiff with my sister and another friend from London. I was quite tired after the 13-hour flight journey, so I slept in the bus. The state of my tidur,…nyenyak until anyone that passes by me to go to the lavatory behind the bus also I did not know. Bear in mind I was sitting near the walkway
Anyway, there is this particular guy who came out of the lavatory that woke me up. Maybe it is the way he walked to his seat that alerts me. He was grabbing the chair with so much force that somehow I felt it. The next thing, he just collapse 2 or 3 rows after me. it appears that the guy seems like having sudden heart attack or something…he was sweating a lot on a cold night. So, u guys will know what happened lah, everyone stunt lah, bus stopped, driver stunt also, some1 called 999 etc etc.  so not to make the bus crowded with people looking at his condition and to give him a bit air to breathe, the driver asked everyone to go out to enjoy the cold chilling night. What I want to point out here is the system that I noticed and how they handle the emergency situation. (Anyway, this was from what I observed, it might be different from the real deal maybe.) In contrast to what we normally see that is ambulance come straight to the rescue, that particular day, I noticed that an emergency response team of paramedics (in a smaller van) were sent first instead of ambulance. This team will examined the guy, maybe give basic treatment, and to decide how serious his condition is, and whether he needs to be send to hospital or something. So, in the condition above, the guy’s condition is actually quite serious I think, he is conscious but unable to even stood on his own feet. The team actually called the ambulance to pick him. It was quite efficient considering it arrives in a few minutes time.
How lucky I was to experience emergency situation the first day I stepped foot in UK while other people experience it after so many years in UK…lolx.
